I loved the friendly instructors and classmates.What I enjoyed most was the practicum. I worked at a cruise line, Worldwide Shore Services and I'm sure that experience gave me a lot of confidence because I learned how to deal with customers in English.  I really would like to thank TTI!
Now I love working at United Airline, and my dream is working at YVR sometime soon!  Takako M.

Graduates on the job in the industry!

A note from Kim L. - Travel and Airline Instructor, Vancouver CampusFeb 2005: Just a quick note to say I was in Las Vegas this past weekend, No Ididn't win anything big. However upon check in at America West I was greeted by one of my students Paul who was in one of my classes last year. He did a great job. I then proceeded to go through security and was greeted by another student Raj who I believe was the last class in the old Surrey campus. Next I went to board my flight and the gate agent was yet Melinda another student of my from last year. Wow it really made me feel good, not to mention my travelling friends were impressed.

Don't be surprised if you bump into more and more graduates fromTourism Training Institute! We look forward to seeing more of ourgraduates on the job in the tourism industry. Well done Grads!!

Graduates working globally!

Hi Guys! It is 8PM here, and I thought it was time to "check in". I imagine it's 9 in the morning there, so your days are all just starting off. I MISS YOU ALL. I am doing great however, we are doing our training now, and it is very very hard. It is strange, because the weekends over here are Thursday and Friday and I have not yet adjusted to that. We work about 11 hours a day, so by the time I write this email I am fairly sleepy....  I'm doing really well, honestly, and I hope you all are too. Please let me know. Postcard from the Sea Hello Everyone! Well what can I say, Im having a great time, I was tanning on a private Island in Bora Bora yesterday and bought myself a little something in Moorea today, Later this evening I am going out for dinner in Papette... this is all in Tahiti! Ive met some really cool people and this side of the Ecuator is really really beautiful... I miss you all so much - well not that much, I'd rather be in the sun..... This cruise has alot of sea days so I am working from 9am until 11 pm... however the Shop is closed when we are in port so i get to go out and play!!! I hope you are all okay!!! miss you xoxoxoxoxoxoxox *Dana*
