Our school will provide you with a "Letter of Acceptance" upon receiving your enrollment agreement form and deposit.
For students who want to participate in the practicum or work experience option of their program, a student visa and employment authorization are required. The student visa must cover the entire length of the course plus the practicum portion. An employment authorization for the practicum portion will be arranged and issued once you are in Canada. Our Student Services Coordinator will assist you in arranging this authorization in Vancouver.
For the location and contact information of other Embassies or Consulates, look under Canadian Embassy in your country or city directory listings or click here.
Under the British Columbia Medical Services Plan (MSP), a student must hold a student authorization upon entering Canada to be eligible for medical coverage. New medical regulations state that international students with student authorizations for six months or longer must be covered under the British Columbia's medical service plan. There is a three month waiting period and students should apply immediately upon commencement of studies. Students should purchase private medical insurance for the first three months of schooling while waiting for the BC MSP coverage.
